A Quiet Place

Directed and stared by John Krasinski (Lee Abbott). His wife Emily Blunt (Evelyn Abbott) stars as well. Millicent Simmonds (Regan Abbott), Noah Jupe (Marcus Abbott), Cade Woodward (Beau Abbott).

Silence is the weapon in the story of one family trying to survive the trouble in the world which is now filled with creatures that hunt noise. The noise attracts them, and whoever had made the noise dies swiftly.

The interesting thing about this film is the newspaper articles on Lee Abbott's wall in his basement. The article is about a meteor hitting Mexico about the size of a Nuke. Afterward, these creatures appear, and the world of noise is silenced by a deadly predator. I love the beginning sequence of the film where the first words aren't words at all but sign language. The concept and originality is the number one reason this film is worth seeing. I guess the 17,000,000 budget with an opening weekend of 50,000,00 and grossing over 160,000,000 is a good indicator that this little horror/thriller is breaking records.

From the acting to the wonderful sequences in the film to the firm connections make this film a must see. I love the Conjuring films and to me, they're top-notch and number one in my honest opinion. This film just took that spot in my own horror movie slot. You want to be scared, just watch the film, because trust me you will jump.
